No matter how many times I try to let go of the idea of hosting WordPress on my web server from home, I keep coming back to it. While I did get WordPress running on my Windows server at home, it never did run truly “right”.

This time, things are hosted on a server running Fedora linux, the Apache web server, MySQL Community server, and PHP contained within my home network.

Since I have Google Fiber with a symmetrical 1Gbps connection, the performance should be acceptable. Time will tell…
